School to Work Transition Program (STW)
Prepare for life after high school with the School to Work transition program. The program is available to students, ages 14-21, and focuses on employment, post- secondary education, training opportunities and community living.
You'll have a chance to learn about yourself, your community and how to prepare for the future. Small group and individual activities allow you to explore your interests, identify your strengths and learn about your preferences.
The School to Work transition program offers instructional work classes; vocational assessments; community tours; volunteer opportunities; and paid work experiences to help you decide what you want to do after graduation. If you're interested in securing employment after you comlete the program, job placement is also available.
Classes in the program cover a wide range of topics to help you achieve success at home, in your community and at work.
